It does not matter what anyone else thinks - play the game for you. So really it is up to you in terms of how far you want to go. Then go for mods by Master Silvio, his Pitch Black dungeon mods are intense and great, you can also get an easy version.
If you want the heavy mods - that change balance, hero abilities, gameplay, difficulty, etc. But there are also several new modders out there with more classes available to choose from. I highly recommend several the Actionjack has also done - Assassin, Pit Fighter, Courtesan, etc. If you want classes - beyond the vanilla one's - there are a ton of those as well. But beyond my mod there are a nunch more on the Nexus. This mod introduces dozens of new skills, effects and emotional changes, all centered around various forms of sexual intercourse, from consensual to forced ones. You can pick and choose which one's you want to use. I recommend my own mod of course - DD Color Variants 1.2. These mods just change the look of the vanilla classes and there are dozens on the Nexus. If you do not want to alter gameplay - to play the game as is, but want just a little variety, then go for skin mods. In terms of Adult oriented, Darkest Desires is the only one I am familiar with, but I am unsure if it ever made it past the slew of updates with launch - so it may not be functional (I don't use that one so I do not know for sure).
